IgG Immune Mediated Food Sensitivity Test, Burlington, ONPosted by November 15th, 2016
If you believe that certain foods are causing you problems, I may recommend conducting an IgG immune mediated food sensitivity test in Burlington.
The foods you eat on a regular basis can have a significant impact on your overall health. Although food is important to your daily function and your survival, some of the foods you eat may have an adverse effect on your system. If you believe that certain foods are causing you problems, I may recommend conducting an IgG immune mediated food sensitivity test.
To put it simply, an IgG-mediated food allergy exists when the immune system triggers an abnormal response after a certain type of food is consumed. There is a production of IgG antibodies to the food and the gradual formation of antigen-antibody complexes, which deposit in tissues and can lead to inflammation. This can exhibit itself in a number of ways, including migraines, eczema, psoriasis, recurrent infections, or irritable bowel syndrome. Through an IgG immune mediated food sensitivity test, it may be possible to identify which foods are causing negative reactions, so you can take steps to eliminate them from your diet. An IgG food sensitivity test does not test for IgE-mediated, immediate, or Type I hypersensitivity allergies characterized by anaphylactic reactions.
I realize how frustrating it can be to suffer from an adverse food reaction and not know what is causing it. Since I am committed to your mental, physical, and emotional health, I will work diligently with you and only recommend solutions that I think will benefit you as a whole.
